BCEIA 2025 | Monochromatic Technology Presents Femtosecond Laser Micro-Nano Machining Solutions to Empower Analytical Science Instruments

Release time:2025-09-12 Source: Monochrome Technology

The 21st Beijing Conference and Exhibition on Instrumental Analysis (BCEIA 2025) – a top event for global analytical science – grandly kicked off at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Venue), Beijing, from September 10 to 12, 2025.

As a leading provider of femtosecond laser extreme manufacturing technologies and equipment, Monochromatic Technology showcased its self-developed femtosecond laser micro-nano machining solutions for analytical instruments at BCEIA 2025 (Booth E3040, Hall E3). Leveraging world-class technical capabilities, we aim to empower the upgrading of analytical science and precision instrument manufacturing. We cordially invite industry partners, research institutions, and scientific researchers to visit our booth for in-depth exchanges on femtosecond laser applications!

Femtosecond Laser Micro-Nano Machining: Inject "High-Precision Manufacturing Power" into Analytical Science Instruments

Amid accelerated global technological transformation, analytical testing technology – with its advantages of high sensitivity, high precision, high speed, and automation – has become indispensable in key fields such as life sciences, pharmaceutical R&D, intelligent manufacturing, green energy, and public safety testing. Notably, the machining precision of core components in analytical instruments directly determines the "detection limit" and reliability of analytical testing – a gap that Monochromatic’s femtosecond laser solutions are designed to fill.

Monochromatic Technology’s femtosecond laser micro-nano machining solutions provide critical support for high-precision instrument manufacturing and scientific research innovation in the analytical science field, with three core capabilities:

1. High-Precision Femtosecond Laser Drilling for Analytical Instruments

Achieves hole-making with 10:1 high aspect ratio, controllable taper, and nanoscale precision – ideal for machining key components like:

• Research & testing: Femtosecond-machined microholes for SEM electron microscope apertures, FIB ion beam apertures, and optical imaging pinhole apertures (ensuring no light leakage or signal interference);

• Medical analytics: Core components such as medical endoscope apertures (laying a "visualization" foundation for precise in-vivo diagnosis and analysis).

2. Carbon-Free Femtosecond Laser Cutting for Mass Spectrometry & Spectroscopy

Enables cutting with no carbonization, no burrs, and micron-level precision – solving processing pain points for sensitive analytical components:

• Mass spectrometry: Taper-free slit cutting (15μm) for mass spectrometer slit sheets (reducing ion loss and improving detection accuracy);

• Spectral analysis: Precision cutting for spectrometer slits and ion source grids (enhancing spectral signal capture efficiency by 20%+);

• Special apertures: Tungsten/molybdenum slit apertures (providing stable "light control" for high-end UV-Vis and IR spectrometers).

3. High-Gloss Femtosecond Laser Etching for Optical & Sensing Components

Realizes nanoscale surface roughness (Ra 0.4μm) and depth-controlled etching – critical for high-performance analytical instrument parts:

• Optical components: Sapphire boss etching (±2μm precision) for optical lenses in chromatographs (ensuring uniform light transmission);

• Metrology sensing: Grating ruler etching (cutting thousands of 10μm square grid meshes with no burrs, broken ribs, or deformation) – key for precision position sensing in analytical equipment;

• Functional devices: Light guide plate etching and ultra-fine texture machining (boosting light uniformity for photometric detectors and reducing background noise).
